This tutorial for JungleDocs for Office 365 demonstrates different ways to open the app, in both classic and modern SharePoint experience.

1. Open using list items

With JungleDocs for Office 365, you can use the metadata stored in your lists to create new list items or documents. If you are using the app for the first time, we recommend this option.

In modern experience

1. Open a list and select one or multiple items that you want to use in JungleDocs for Office 365.

2. Open the app from the menu bar.

In classic experience

1. Open a list and select one or multiple items that you want to use in JungleDocs for Office 365

2. Open JungleDocs from the ribbon.

2. Open using documents

With JungleDocs for Office 365, you can update your existing documents, copy them and change the metadata or merge them. You would do this by selecting the documents you want to use and opening the app from the ribbon.

In modern experience

Select documents to use with JungleDocs in Modern View and open the app from the ribbon.

In classic experience

In the same way, you can select documents to use in Classic View.

3. Open from the ribbon

You can also open JungleDocs for Office 365 straight from the ribbon without selecting any documents or items. This works in both classic and modern SharePoint experience.

4. Open from site contents

This method is not recommended when you are opening the app for the first time (on a new site). The reason we recommend option 1 or 2 over 3, is that JungleDocs would not know which library it should start creating your documents or items in.

1. Open your SharePoint site contents.

2. Find and open the app.

5. Open via Modern UI

If you have Modern UI installed, you can access the main features of JungleDocs for Office 365 via a convenient sidebar.

1. Install Modern UI.

2. Go to the SharePoint list and select the items you want to work on.

3. Select JungleDocs 365 from a menu bar.

4. To open the main app via Modern UI, select Main App in Modern UI menu.
