JungleDocs | Record set Sum function

In JungleDocs you can use the Record set Sum function to sum all items by their title field. In this tutorial you will learn how to do this.

Sum(arg1; fieldTitle) - will sum all items by fieldTitle field

  • arg1 – any command that returns a list of items.
  • fieldTitle – Title of the field you want to sum.

For example, if you have a view with numeric values in the Total field:

You can sum all items in total field if you write this command in placeholder properties tag:

Sum(GetView("TimeSheet"; "AllItems"); "total") – it will sum all values from the TimeSheet list's AllItems view, by "total" field.

Sum(GetView("TimeSheet"; "AllItems"; "Title"; "anthony"); "total") – it will sum all values for "anthony" from the TimeSheet list's AllItems view, by "total" field (additional parameters available from JungleDocs 3.6).

Also you can calculate Totals for particular Company using Sum and GetView with dynamic view functions, for example:
