JungleBell | Creating and editing alert templates

Creating and editing your alert templates is easy in JungleBell. In this tutorial you will learn how to to do this.

JungleBell has default alert templates for every trigger event. You have the option to change these templates easily. Let's get started.

  1. If you want to edit existing templates, run JungleBell and select the Templates manager tab. Or simply run the Templates Manager from the ribbon.

  2. To edit an existing template select one of your choice and click Edit. To add a new one, click Add new template at the bottom.

  3. You will notice that you can assign templates to Event types when creating or editing one.

4. You will also notice here that there is no Columns option. The reason for this is that JungleBell alerts are contextual and columns must be added for the list where alert is being created.

Note: You can place columns in the template manually by entering internal column names in the following format {[ColumnName]}. However such template will not work if these columns don’t exist in some list.
