Adding sending conditions

Sending conditions allow you to determine when JungleMail for Office 365 should send your newsletter. If these conditions are not met (e.g., if there is no recent news in your SharePoint news list), the emails will not be sent. In this tutorial, you will learn how to use this feature.

How to use sending conditions

Note

Sending conditions, Dynamic Content, and formulas only work if there's at least one recipient specified in the Recipients step.

When creating a newsletter in JungleMail, you can use Dynamic content to make this campaign recurrent and automatic. For example, we can set up a recurrent newsletter to be sent every week, and to take the content of the newsletter from SharePoint, but only if it is less than a week old. To do this, simply add a condition to your Dynamic Section or Dynamic Block.

However, it is possible that you do not want to send a newsletter if no results are returned by the conditions.

To achieve this, select the Dynamic Section or Block you inserted, navigate to the Dynamic tab and set the Sending conditions toggle to On. When enabled, if the Dynamic Section or Block returns no content based on the conditions set for the Dynamic Section or Block, the email will not be sent.
